Altberg Desert Microlite MoD Brown Boot
This desert boot is a relatively high leg fit whilst maintaining lightweight with its Microlite sole. The lining of the boot features Altberg’s Cambrelle; however only half lined so it maintains its breathable, fast drying properties. In fact around the front of the boot its lined with a spacer mesh which practically results in zero water retention keeping the boot incredibly dry
The boot has been tried and tested in most dry climates including Oman, Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan and also features special formulated properties to reduce heat transfer to the foot. This boot was first designed back in 1994 and has been serving soldiers reliably since, but always listening, Mike Sheehan made minor improvements to provide optimum performance
The original Desert Microlite was made with in a Beige finish; however since then Altberg have introduced this MoD Brown which is more compatible with the modern day MTP camp and Multi-Cam patterns

Size and Fitting Advice
Here at John Bulls we’d recommend you choosing a 1/2 size above your normal shoe size as this allows for a thicker sock to be used with the boot
PLEASE NOTE: Altberg started introducing their new Defender Hi-Traction Sole onto their boots in June 2022 with an aim to replace all Vibram soles by February 2023. Practically all our boots now have the new Defender sole and sadly we can no longer order them with the older Vibram versions - These Defender soles are a far better sole in our opinion and the valuable feedback we're getting back from our customers
