Para cord is an extremely versatile item for outdoor use, considered a bushcraft survival essential which should be included in everyone’s kit for any activity or expedition. Its range of uses are unlimited, from pitching tarps and tents to washing lines, tying up or fastening equipment … and even emergency bootlaces. Sometimes called parachute cord, it is now more often referred to as para cord or utility cord.

This para cord is military standard and has excellent wear resistance. It is made from braided polypropylene and a choice of three colours means it will match your chosen kit colour or camo type. A 100m reel will last most users a long time and so represents great value. It can be successfully knotted.

Please note that whilst this paracord is incredibly strong and durable with a high breaking force, it is not suitable for tasks which require holding substantial weights such as climbing or moving heavy objects; it will not hold human bodyweight.
