If extra room is needed for a comfortable sleeping position or to keep a little cooler, the zip baffle can be unzipped to expand into a panel of stretchy material (the Expanda Panel System) which makes the sleeping bag wider. It is the EPS innovation plus the patented Softie insulation layers and the useful internal pocket for valuable which make this sleeping bag such an effective product. The Elite 1 is the lightest weight sleeping bag in the Elite range - it weighs just 1kg and can be compressed into a handy small sized stuff sack (supplied).
