Originally formed in 1898 it fulfils may roles during operations providing front line treatment as well as long term care. Their listed surgeons, doctors, pharmacists and medics are invaluable to support large-scale situations and humanitarian operations
The Royal Army Medical Corps is formed from the following various corps: the Royal Army Veterinary Corps, the Royal Army Dental Corps and Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps supporting Army personnel and families during war and peace
